Hey I'm Frank Zhao, a Product / UX Designer lives in Irvine, California⛰️. Currently I work for Twilio, leading a product design team of 6, focusing on Twilio’s Messaging and Email business, both API and console. As a product designer, I put our users at the center of everything and I work my best to design simple solutions for complex problems with great empathy for users at heart.

My Background

I have a mixed background of tech & design. I majored in digital media when I got my bachelor's from Beijing University pf Posts and Telecommunication in China🇨🇳. I was introduced into UX by reading the famous The design for everyday things by Don Norman and I instantly knew UX would be my career path. I went to University of Michigan 💙 for my Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction in 2014.

Currently I am a product designer working at Pluralsight, the Skill Learning Platform. I am responsible for conducting user research, designing UI and utilizing Human-centered design methodology in a cross-functional team dedicated in hands-on learning product. I am so stoked about the Pluralsight's mission to democratize technology around the world and I truly believe hands-on learning is the key to that!
